Lightgeist Media has an excellent relationship with the University of the Arts London. We have been once more commissioned by UAL to produce a film for their marketing and communications department.
This time we worked with Ezri Carlsbach, Deputy Director of Communications and External Affairs at UAL, as well as Anna Castleton Simmons from the same office.
We were asked to interview all the heads of the individual colleges of UAL which include Central Saint Martins, Chelsea, London College of Communication, Camberwell and London College of Fashion. The central issue of this film was sustainability and how the university has been working towards making UAL a ‘greener’ and more environment-friendly institution.
Lightgeist Media’s specialist experience with this subject matter helped us a lot – as just last year we released Conscientious Communicators, which explored ethical and sustainable practice within the UK creative industry as a whole, featuring leading figures from the cultural sector such as Tim Molloy, creative director of the Science Museum as well as Ed Gillespie, co-founder of Futerra.
The shoot lasted for three days and took us to various sites around the university and London. The edit is progressing well and will be posted here as soon as it has been approved.
